The County Governor of Hedmark will implement surveillance of selected rivers and lakes in Hedmark. The surveillance is a part of the implementation of the Eu's water framework directive, where the paramount objective is to reach good ecological and chemical status for all water resources.

II.2.4)Description of the procurement:
The monitoring is a part of the implementation of the water regulations, where the goal is that all water resources shall achieve good ecological and chemical conditions.
The monitoring comprises physical and water chemical parameters as well as sediments, zooplankton, fish, phytoplankton, as well as surveys for fouling algae and benthos. The assignment will be published for 2018. The monitoring shall be implemented in line with the applicable version of the guidelines for classification of the environmental condition in water as well as guidelines M-608 2016 Limit Values for classification of water, sediment and biota.
