Hochschulstadtteil Lübeck Stadtteilzentrum
Das Stadtteilzentrum beinhaltet die soziale Infrastruktur des entstehenden Quartiers und bildet das urbane Initial für den neuen Hochschulstadtteil. Zum geplanten Marktplatz definiert es eine klare Platzkante, zum Carlebachpark verzahnen sich die Gebäudefinger mit der Landschaft. Die unterschiedlichen Nutzungen „Grundschule, 2-Feldsporthalle, Kindertagesstätte, Jugendbereich, Kirche, Veranstaltungsforum, Polizei und Wohnen“ werden in einem gemeinsamen Gebäude zusammengefasst, wobei die gezielten Einschnitte die einzelnen Bereiche gliedern und ihre Identität erkennen lassen. Die zentrale Mitte des Gebäudes ist das Veranstaltungsforum. Alle Einzelnutzungen nutzen die Nebenflächen gemeinsam. Diese Synergie und die damit verbundenen Einsparungen ermöglichte die Realisierung des gemeinsamen Forums. Gleichzeitig lässt die Organisation der Aktivitäten in dem gemeinsamen, übergeordneten Raum die Bewohner und Nutzer im Alltag zusammenkommen und produziert somit neue Synergien und Kooperationen.

The city community centre contains the social infrastructure of the developing accommodation and defines the urban initial for the new university campus. The centre outlines a clear edge towards the planned market square. Towards the Carlebach park the digitated wings indent with the landscape. The diverse utilisations “primary school, 2-field-gym, nursery, youth club, church, event forum, Police and living” will be combined in one building. Selective incisions structure the individual areas and emphasise their identity. The centre of the building is the event forum. All individual utilisations benefit equally from the functional areas. Cost savings from this synergy allowed the realisation of the corporate forum. At the same time the organisation of activities in a shared and superordinate environment results in a “get together” of the inhabitants and thus produces new synergies and cooperations.
