The Project
Erection of a subsidized housing project with 14 flats, 1 pram and bicycle storage room, 14 basement compartments, 14 parking spaces, 1 tenants’ garden and 1 common green with a playground for small children and youngsters.


The Concept
The street and courtyard side is a double-walled facade with exposed brickwork, sintered bricks manganese brown.
Large, deep recesses and cuts divide the angular structure, the at times arrhythmic window alignment is consistent with the inner functionality.
The massive brick facade and light stucco of the living space create ambivalent tension between inside and outside. The wall and floor of the house entrance is also made of bricks, a brick wall separates the tenants‘ and private garden, creating a spacial extension of the brick structure horizon-tally into the inner area at the back.
