The 15.500 m2 of the Canal Dwellings are sub-divided in smaller building
volumes of 4-12 floors to break up the large scale of the overall project. The
’small’ houses have variating facades to underline the intention to create
a building structure that adapts to both the large scale of the industrial
harbor and the smaller scale of the marina.
The Canal Dwellings are the sister project of Harbor Houses and shares
the large green courtyard, as well as a common matriality and detailing.
