Arvo Pärt Centre / Arvo Pärdi Keskuse

The design of this building has two sides: firstly, the functionality of the building fits almost like a glove, with the scale being in order and featuring a logical room plan, but secondly it features a rather overwhelmingly mechanical external appearance. The jury has raised question over its energy efficiency, and whether or not it has been designed to make the most use of the shadowy forest floor.
