Development of an architectural concept of the Atomic Energy Pavilion at VDNH (Exhibition of Achievements of National Economy)

The Pavilion of atomic energy is a symbolic building, which interactively fits into the VDNH park facing the Industry square. The Pavilion has geometric forms and consists of two transparent parts: cube and sphere, one is inside the other as a precious thing inside the precious box. The building is in the center of the open square at minus 10 meters with the ramp corridors leading to the entrance at the perimeters of the building. Besides it is possible to enter the Pavilion via a pedestrian bridge which leads directly to the entrance in the cube part of the building. The façade technologies make it possible to apply different visual effects including 3D images.
