As one of the most prominent architectural gestures amongst all entries, this project follows the idea of a “vertical plaza” or “urban screen” towards Parc Léopold. The jury praised this attitude as a very direct image, making a strong reference to a classical amphitheatre.
The choice of structural system meets stability stipulations, and the hybrid timber construction seems feasible.
